Our History

Marketech Maldives was established on November 5, 1991, and started its business by  providing services of marine engines through the experience and expertise of Mr. Abdulla Waseem, one of the shareholders who had been in the field of marine engineering for more  than 44 years.

Later on, the company started to engaged on importing equipment’s particularly marine  engines and electrical generator sets. Marketech Maldives acquired the distributorship of Volvo Penta and became the sole distributor of Volvo Penta products in Maldives.
